Als Software Engineer spielst du eine zentrale Rolle beim Aufbau der Basis unserer Next-Gen-Retrofit-Plattform – einer End-to-End-Lösung, die alles von der Projektaufnahme über Kostenmodellierung und Angebotserstellung bis hin zu Bau-Workflows unterstützt.
Dein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Frontend-Entwicklung in TypeScript, gleichzeitig arbeitest du über den gesamten Stack hinweg und trägst zu Systemdesign, Dokumentation und Tech-Strategie bei. Du arbeitest eng mit Product und Operations zusammen, damit wir die richtigen Tools auf die richtige Weise bauen – mit Blick auf Skalierbarkeit, Flexibilität und Klarheit.

Über die Rolle

Wir suchen eine:n Frontend Software Engineer, der/die intuitive, responsive Benutzeroberflächen für unsere Retrofit-Plattform entwickelt. Du arbeitest mit modernen Frameworks wie React und Next.js und trägst zur Frontend-Architektur, zum Testing und zu Designsystemen bei.

Aufgaben

Aufbau responsiver UIs mit React, TypeScript und Next.js
Pflege und Testen von Frontend-Komponenten (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
Mitarbeit an UX/UI-Design und Frontend-Architektur
Einsatz von State-Management-Tools (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
Integration von Backend-APIs und -Services (REST und GraphQL)
Dokumentation von Komponenten und Workflows (Storybook)
KI-Chat-Integration

Dein Profil

Qualifikationen

4–6+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Frontend-Entwicklung
Starke Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Erfahrung mit React, Vue oder ähnlichen Frameworks
Vertrautheit mit Test-Tools (Jest, Vitest, Cypress)
Kenntnisse in Build-Tools (Webpack, Vite) und Styling-Bibliotheken (Tailwind, MUI)
Wissen zu Accessibility, Responsive Design und Performance-Optimierung
Vertrautheit mit Chat-UI-Patterns, Message-Threading und User Presence

Pluspunkte

Your mission

We’re now assembling the core engineering team that will shape the future of our tech – and we’re looking for someone who wants to architect, build, and own meaningful systems from day one.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in building the foundation of our next-gen retrofit platform - an end-to-end solution supporting everything from project intake to cost modeling, quoting, and construction workflows.

Your primary focus will be on frontend development in TypeScript, but you’ll work across the stack and contribute to system design, documentation, and tech strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with product and operations to ensure we build the right tools the right way, with scale, flexibility, and clarity in mind.

About the Role
We're seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to create intuitive, responsive user interfaces for our retrofit platform. You’ll work with modern frameworks like React and Next.js, and contribute to frontend architecture, testing, and design systems.

Responsibilities:

Build responsive UIs using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Maintain and test frontend components (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
Collaborate on UX/UI design and frontend architecture

Your profile

Qualifications

4–6+ years of frontend development experience
Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Experience with React, Vue, or similar frameworks

Knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Vite) and styling libraries (Tailwind, MUI)

Bonus Points
